It is amazing as a parent that you can tell there are just some people that your child has an instant connection to even when they don't get to see them every day or every week! Ty Matthew has always had a connection to his Aunt Nilda! He loves to sit and stare at her!This is so amazing and importnat to me because my brother and I missed out on getting to be part of her life when we were little! We didn't meet our cousin Philip (her grandson) and cousin Marla (her daughter) until Cam was in his teens and I was in my 20's! I am so so happy that Ty has had the opportunity to know this part of our family from the time he was born!

Ty's First Hockey Game!

Ty Matthew's first hockey game was a blast! It was loud and crazy and fun and Ty watched, played with Patti and Gina and took a nap too! Not to brag but how many little people do you know that can go to a hockey game with screaming and yelling and be this darn happy!

Ty's first Condors shirt! Oh yeah our big man is on his way to being a huge sports fan! he has now been to 2 football games, 2 volleyball games and 1 hockey game and he loved every minute of all of them!

Grandma Mary Came To Visit!

Josh and I were very excited to have grandma Mary come to meet Ty Matthew. Josh Ty and I went to the airport to pick Grandma Mary up! Ty and I waited in the car because our doctors told us not to take Ty in the airport because of Swine Flu and the many other germs that are at airports. So Ty and I waited outside while daddy went and picked Grandma Mary up.

Ty and Grandma Mary read, played and had a great time together. It was so nice of Grandma Mary to come and visit and meet Ty and be here for daddy's Birthday! Thank you for the new books and all the goodies! There was definitly some spoiling going on and we loved it!

Pumpkins and Football

It seems that there is never time for a blog these days. On Oct 1oth our family packed up and headed to Santa Maria to watch our Cousin Philip play football. We so so so LOVE cousin Philip and his mom and grandma. On our way to the game we got to stop at a great pumpkin patch and grandma and grandpa got Ty Matthew his very first pumpkin!
